Update: SAM.gov Registrations Expiring in the Coming Weeks

Entities whose SAM records expired between March 16, 2013 and March 24, 2013 will receive a 30 day extension. If affected, you should receive an email from GSA.

Update: Scheduled Maintenance for SAM.gov

From GSA's SAM.gov Program Management Office: 

Some components of SAM.govare temporarily unavailable.  Users will not be able to register a new entity or update an entity record until Entity Management is available at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25. GSA currently is strengthening security measures to protect user information.

The security of SAM registrants’ information is a top priority for the agency and we will continue to ensure the system remains secure.

Technical Alert: GSA has Scheduled Maintenance with the SAM.gov

It has been brought to the Grants.gov PMO's attention that SAM.gov is down for maintenance until Tuesday, 19 Mar 2013 at 9 am EDT. If you have further questions about SAM.gov, please contact the Sam.gov help desk at: https://www.fsd.gov/.  

System Upgrade Alert

The Grants.gov system will be undergoing an upgrade starting Friday, March 8, 2013 through Friday, March 15, 2013. This is a no-downtime software release; however, the system will be operating at a lower capacity for the duration of the upgrade. Based on the planned submission volume, the Grants.gov PMO does not anticipate any impacts as a result of the lower capacity.

Resolved: Adobe Reader XI Compatibility

Issues with submission of PDF Application Packages using Adobe Reader XI have been resolved. Applicants are now able to fill out, save and submit application packages using Adobe Reader XI.

However, application packages downloaded before March 5 are not compatible with Adobe XI.

It is recommended that applicants who downloaded application packages prior to March 5 choose one of the following options when submitting their application:

• Submit their current package using with Adobe 10.1.4
• Re-download the package and submit using Adobe 11.0.2
